Food log: Friday, september 25

The morning started swiflty. I had to eat a big breaky and push on, as we had a big/long presentation in the morning. It went great!

Baguette with cheese, chocolate milk from Pasta Café - $5.05

Lunch was a hearty meal filled with joy and joyness. I think I am still digesting it.
Soup, cheese ravioli, bread, apple crumble, orange juice - $6

Then it was Snacks in the Bistro Time!


I opted for fresh fruit (free) and Diet Coke from the vending machine ($1.25)




Back home, the night called for Gin & Tonics, chips and corn dogs.

Food log: Thursday, September 1

This was a totally exciting and hectic day. I'm working on a big presentation for tomorrow and am too busy to breath. I moved to a new office. We had our monthly meeting in an secret location that turned out to be the future space of more awesome Sid Lee ateliers. I missed aquagym because I had to work late, got home an hour ago and I'm writing this under the influence of a stiff Cuba Libre. Yippee! (hic!)

On Wednesdays at Sid Lee, we have a new tradition. Employees are encouraged to share recipes they love and our chefs prepare them for us all. Today was a traditionnal Easter meal from the grand-mother of a pair of cousins who work with us. They served ham, boiled potatoes, a yummy sauce, green beans, a salad and some sort of monster pink dessert that was way too sweet, yet totally awesome. Just look at it!

After work, I headed downtown for dinner and opera time with a friend. My brother was singing his first solo!

So it's official: the chefs at work are fattening us up for some kind of ritualistic sacrifice. Or they are just really nice. But more on that later, let's start with breakfast.

It was awesome. The icing had real strawberries in it. It counts as a fruit serving, right?

Today's snack from the bistro was Rice Krispies treats.


Post-pool dinner was pizza

Not pictured: vegetables. Because I suck and was to tired to cook any.

And industrial dessert was also consumed in the form of a mini ice cream sandwich


So all in all: not my best day, health-wise. But tasty!
