Please stay tuned

I'm not dead. I just forgot my camera cable in Québec City and can't upload any pictures. But fear not, my Mom mailed it to me and I should blog about all the good Holiday stuff soon.

Meanwhile, please enjoy this video of Godzilla making pancakes.

Ham and cheese croissant, juice

After breakfast, we set out to start cooking the stew a.k.a. ragoût de pattes de cochon. It's a whole day thing that turns my mom's kitchen into some kind of Tudor-style cookery, where weird beasts are laid to rest.
Our recipe, from Le Pied de cochon book.
Pork legs

The pork had to rest in a salt water bath for 3 hours. By the way, is there a more horrible redesign than what was done to the Windsor salt box? It used to be an icon of Canadian design. What a shame.

ALL HAIL THE THICKNESS! TIME TO COOK... YOUR ASS!

I had some random chinese food for dinner, in a sad food court. I was killing time waiting for a massage appointment at Spa Diva.

I think it cost around 10 bucks. I didn't remember much after that massage.
