Food log: Friday, January 15

Today was Sid Lee' agency party. We all piled up in yellow buses with our brown bag lunches and went to Jouvence in Orford for some winter fun and a huge party. Everything after "Muffin" was free. Thanks Sid Lee!

The guy called this a pogo, but it looked pretty naked to me. What's a Pogo without its corn batter? Dude: just because it's on a stick doesn't make it a pogo. But I didn't really care since it was delicious.

I had to take a break from all that booze.

After a nap and a shower at the chalet, we made ourselves pretty and all headed out to the main lodge for cocktails, followed by dinner and a party that went on into the wee hours of morning. At midnight, mini burgers and pizza were served to make sure everyone could continue the party without getting woozy.

Ok so in the evening, I had a Tupperware party at my house. That's right: a Tupperware party. So dinner was basically party nibbles and Godiva chocolate someone gave me.

A nice hostess gift

We made $2080 in sales and since 2 of my guests made appointments to have their own parties, it double my gift and earned $841 in credit. I could not stop laughing. That was the biggest hostess gift the representative ever gave. Now that's a lot of plastic! Good thing Tupperware also has pots and pans and fabulous knifes. Yay! I celebrated with more Godiva chocolates, pretzels and a glass of wine.

Patrick and Nathalie came around at five for a little apéro. We had roasted nuts, chips, spicy Korean tuna on cucumber slices, more smoked oysters on crackers with merlot salt, gimlets for Pat and I and a bloody mary for Nath.
